“ Elizabeth” is a Historical movie set in England in the 16 century. The directors are Shekhar Kapur and the main actor is Cate Blanshett, Geoffrey Rush, Christopher Eccleston, Joseph Fiennes, and Richard Attenborough. The most important characters are Elizabeth I, Sir Francis Walsingham, Robert Dudley, Duke Norfolk, the other aristocracy, People of Protestant and Catholic people.
This film’s story is describing the situation in England in the 16th and her life. After Queen Mary 1 died, Elizabeth became the Queen of England in 1558. There are many problems and troubles. For example, wars, and marriage’s problem. Elizabeth has a lover whom she has loved since her childhood, but she can’t marry to her lover. Because she is Queen and she has no freedom. She is protestant, so she will change England ‘s politics and state religion.
This film’s theme contrast with Romance and problem; a woman and public official.
